Man, minor girl die in Mardan roof collapse

Two people including a minor girl died and three others injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Mardan on Friday.

According to details, the roof of a house situated in Mohalla Chair in Khandray Kilay area of Mardan caved in. As a result, two people including a little girl died and three others sustained injuries during the tragic incident.

Rescue 1122 officials reached the venue and provided the first aid treatment to the injured. Then they shifted them to a hospital.

The dead included Umair Khan (55) and his four-year-old granddaughter Sobia.—INP
