Accusing Maulana Fazlur Rehman of following someone’s else agenda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for Information Shaukat Yuosafzai demanded the Maulana from D I Khan he must tell the nation what deal he has struck with the opposition to prevent their corruption? He said PTI was being targeted in illegal Foreign Funding case. Addressing a function in connection with international day for disable persons at special education complex here Tuesday Shaukat said that 150 million will be spent on special education complex to facilitate disabled and special persons adding.
The Disability Welfare Fund is being increased and according to the announcement by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, the quota of disable persons has been increased from 2 to 4 percent for which the draft of the Act is in law department. These views he expressed Peshawar. Deputy Speaker Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mehmood Jan, Members Provincial Assembly Rabia Basri, Wilson Wazir, Secretary Social Welfare Idrees Khattak, officers, elders and persons with disabilities attended the ceremony.
The provincial minister said that the population of disabled persons in Pakistan is 15% which is very high. The purpose of this day’s celebration is to show solidarity with people with disabilities and protect their rights. Unfortunately, special persons do not get the place they deserve in society. In the past, government did nothing to alleviate the problems of the disabled and to provide them facilities. He said that he will become thier ambassador and will raise their voice on every front. He said that former rulers devastated the economy of the country. Due to tough decisions taken by prime Minister Imran Khan, economy is now stabilizing
