Better late than never
THIS scribe has been watching the two major global News Networks namely the BBC and CNN specifically ever since hostilities broke out between Russia and Ukraine, and not that one justifies the devastation caused allegedly by the Russian assault, one was amazed at the double standards adopted by the Western media over similar and worst accesses committed by the American and NATO invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, nor atrocities and genocide of Palestinians by Israel and Kashmiris by India in the Occupied State of Kashmir; being the cases in point in recent history.
One saw broadcast adnauseam, the news of a maternity Hospital allegedly bombarded by the Russian Forces in Mariupol injuring 17 and killing three including a child (later reported dead due to suffocation), and a flurry of interviews with Ukrainian leaders, officials and aid workers communicating not just grave human Rights abuses by the Russians but also projecting dogs and other animals as war victims.
By stark contrast, one had not come across any footage of the devastation caused in Afghanistan’s carpet bombing, killing tens of thousands, sub-human treatment and accesses in Abu Gharaib, Bagram and Guantonamo detention Centers run by NATO and millions fleeing their hearths and homes over the last over forty years.
No footage of indiscriminate killings in these Countries was allowed to be taken out or aired by these demi-gods on earth to let the world have a glimpse of their savagery, and plight and misery of the surviving innocent, destitute, displaced and hungry in these Countries, as if they were children of a lesser god; notwithstanding the harrowing stories of their inhuman treatment occasionally leaked accidentally.
One found Becky Anderson, Yalda Hakim and Lees Doucette missing on these humanitarian disaster scenes.
Both over the reasons of their assault and the war crimes they have committed in these Countries, had the United Nations Security Council and the International Criminal Court of Justice taken suomoto notice of these accesses, blood of the innocent would not have been spilled so savagely, and held testimony that the civilized world had in place, Instruments to ensure peace, harmony and justice for the entire mankind which had rightly been declared supreme amongst nature’s creations.
But far from that, the NATO Alliance headed by the United States ascribing to itself the Role of the sole Super Power of the world, unleashed its hegemonic designs upon the rest of the world.
The Russians seeking a Security Council Meeting to address their accusation that the Western Alliance was planning a False Flag Biological or Chemical weapons strike in Ukraine, just as it allegedly armed and made the Western-tilted Ukrainian faction itself bomb the maternity hospital to blame it on Russia and discredit it in worldview, Russia of course will need to substantiate its allegation besides the reasons for its attack; False Flag Operations now being a thing of the past in the current Electronic Social Media age after the mother of all such operations styled as ‘Enduring Freedom’ after Nine Eleven, for which the US over 20 years down the line still has to provide proof and justification.
Rewinding some three decades back, in contrast to how the Afghan Taliban styled by the West then as Freedom Fighters during the Soviet invasion were perceived externally as well as by some other Afghan factions as terrorists, did not consider themselves as party to the Civil War in Afghanistan of the early nineties, which one believes was triggered by the US after its first desertion in frustration; not succeeding to Install their chosen proxy former King Zahir Shah back in the power after the Soviet withdrawal.
Far from that, the Afghan Taliban who had fought the Soviets had regrouped to frustrate the Civil War, were a group distinctly apart which prevailed in the end to form the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan.
This mission, according to the Afghan Taliban was not about excluding people but to unify them under one command, as they often claimed that they were neither aligned to any group nor relying on an ethnic oriented political program, but following the tenets of Islam alone; and hence the resurgent, peaceful, secure and just Taliban Rule of Mulla Omar; a mixture of Rural wisdom and Religious Education Culture of senior Taliban Leadership which created the understanding that corruption and vice being the mother of all evils, shall not be tolerated.
This was the second wave of resurgence and Islamic renaissance after the Iranian Revolution which the Imperial West could not digest and conspired to destroy with its false flag Operation of Nine Eleven and installing a minority Northern Alliance puppet Government in Afghanistan; pumping in trillions of dollars in the vain hope of transforming a people with Centuries old Socio-cultural traditions into a Soap Western Society.
The Allied Command allowed resumption of poppy cultivation, which the Taliban had reduced to Zero considering it a major conduit to corruption; which both the puppets and the Western command enjoyed to the hilt.But how it ended 20 years later is history, which can be termed as ‘Enduring Humiliation.
’ But in contrast to Mulla Omar’s Rule, the present Afghan leadership which has wrested power back from Imperial clutches, does not yet appear to command complete control over the mercenary factions which the badly bruised Imperialists have not just left behind but unleashed in vengeance, such as the Muslim Brotherhood-brand Islamism via ISIS and Daesh initially launched in Iraq and Syria and later joined by Pakistan-directed Baloch Liberation Army and Tehreek Taliban Pakistan operating under Indian RAW in collaboration with Afghan puppet NDS using Afghan soil.
That their sleeper cells in Pakistan have been activated is evidenced by increased episodes of terrorism being staged in Pakistan which are traced back to the Afghan soil.It is time for the Afghan Government to beware.
Pakistan having suffered exponentially for serving as a compliant poodle of the West ever since its Independence and paid back badly, has finally learnt its lesson and plucked the courage to refuse toeing unsavoury line or be part of any hegemonic Block or Agenda, but offered to be partners in peace with all.
With this in perspective, Pakistan has successfully garnered global and UN support through its diplomatic initiative of humanitarian Assistance from the OIC platform for war-battered Afghanistan and created the necessary pressure for release of Afghanistan’s National Reserves illegally seized by the US.Better late than never!
