Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that maintaining law and order in the country is the priority of the government.
The government is making decisions based on national interests and not politics. Judicial reforms are necessary for the country to provide timely justice, for which the federal government is working to strengthen all institutions, including democracy and parliaments in the country.
The present government is also taking all possible steps to provide basic amenities to the people, including health and education.
To provide clean drinking water more than 1500 projects of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority have been completed. He met with MPA Saeed Ahmed Saadi and addressed the inaugural function of Habib Ur Rehman Science College and Oath-taking ceremony of Tandiya wala Bar Association on monday while on this occasion Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Makhdoom Tariq Al Hassan, Chairman Anti-Narcotics Punjab Haji Muhammad Ramzan and others were also present.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that besides judiciary and police, lawyers are also playing an important role in the delivery of justice in the country.
From day one, the present government has been working on the measures, including reforms in the judiciary and police, to provide speedy justice in the country because for the strengthening of Pakistan it is necessary to provide timely justice to the people of the country.
I would also like to ask the lawyers to fulfill their responsibilities as lawyers to ensure justice and timely decision of cases.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that for development and stability of any country, it is necessary to strengthen the institutions because only the strength of the institutions will strengthen Pakistan and it will also help in solving the problems of the people.
The present government has an unequivocal policy that we have to rid the institutions of political interference as well as strengthen the institutions for which all resources are being utilized.
The rule of law and order in the country will be ensured in every case.
The priority of the government is to give every rightful owner his due.
Makhdoom Tariqul Hassan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, said that since Prime Minister Imran Khan has come into power, his mission was solely for the development and prosperity of the people and to strengthen the country for which the federal and Punjab governments are working hard on providing basic facilities to the people.
