The Women University Multan (WUM) and Uni-versity of Home Economics (UHE) College, Lahore have signed MoU to promote innovative scientific as well as technical education and to extend cooperation in related common fields.
The MoU signed by WUM Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi and UHE Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen.
The MoU aims to facilitate in forming an academic affiliation between the two organizations. Both the organizations intend to benefit each other with mutual collaboration in various research projects for the growth of emergent ideas.
Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr Uzma Quraishi said that University of Home Economics is one of the most renowned and historical institution of the country.
She said that the agreement with Home Economics College Lahore is a part of the efforts of Women University Multan under which the both the univer-sities will strive to promote mutual links for sus-tainable development of higher education in South Punjab.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen said on the occasion that UHE will provide expertise in the field of research and development of curricula ADP program and to launch of Information and Digital literacy course as compulsory part of curriculum for WUM.
These emerging techniques will promote the conduction of bilateral scientific, research-based, technical seminars, workshops, conferences ,and courses.
