Leading carpet traders on Sunday underlined the importance of holding Single Entry Exhibition in different parts of the world to boost Carpet Manufacturer industry in Pakistan.
In a joint press statement here on Sunday, the Group leader Carpet Manufacturers Association Abdul Latif Malik, Vice Chairman Ejazur Rehman, Senior Executive Member Riaz Ahmed, Saeed Khan Daniyal called upon the govt for removing bottlenecks hampering carpet Industry in the country due to ever increasing import duty of Raw Material from Afghanistan.
They also stressed the need of searching global markets for enhancing export of Pakistani carpets besides evolving concrete strategy for holding Single Entry Exhibition besides easing export of Raw Material from Afghanistan and other problems needed to be resolved as an immediate measure.
They pointed out that doors of international trade are also opened for Pakistan and added that a mechanism should be evolved to promote our export without affecting our trade interests.
