Bitcoin slips to $43,249 as Fed interest rate hike looms large

The cryptocurrency market remained bearish on Thursday, with the market capitalisation shed 1.8 percent to reach $2.05 trillion.

As of 1255 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s (BTC) price shed 1.91 percent to reach $43,249. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $819 billion. Bitcoin shed 2.3 percent during the last seven days.Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, slipped 1.93 percent to reach $3,063. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $360 billion. Ether has shed 5.1 percent of its value over the last seven days.—TLTP
