Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday launched Scholarship Complaint Portal for students across the country and urged the youth to go for their passion in achieving wonders and new heights in their academic life.

Addressing students at the launching ceremony here, Imran Khan cited Scandinavian and Switzerland examples for following the principles of the State of the Madinah to provide welfare to their citizens.

Imran Khan said Rahmatul lil Alameen Scholarship has been launched to provide guidelines to the younger generation and to bring merit.

He asked students and youth of the country to be good human beings along with their good academic career.

He said Pakistan’s purpose was to be an exemplary welfare state.

The premier said underprivileged youth will get scholarships aimed at providing them a pathway and ensuring meritocracy, transparency and focus on their education.

The main purpose of this portal is to resolve the issues faced by the students immediately.

It is pertinent to mention that the government is spending more than 28 billion rupees on scholarships for the education of deserving and talented students. Currently 2.6 million students, including 72 percent women, are benefiting from these scholarships.

This portal will be linked to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Portal and the Prime Minister’s Office will oversee timely redressal of the grievances.
