Dead politics of Opposition not to be revived: CM

Approves over 10m for treatment of deserving patients

No attempt of the opposition parties would succeed to create political unrest in the country. The opposition would face defeat in this regard because failure is their destiny.

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in a statement issued on Thursday maintained that the opposition was trying to revive its politics by bragging about the no-confidence move. However, the dead politics of the opposition would not be revived through such tactics, he said and advised the opposition parties to stop making claims.

It should, rather, do what it wants, he added. Talkative persons always remain unsuccessful in the practical field, the CM maintained and asserted that the government would not be afraid of the negative tactics of the opposition.

Even a united opposition could not dare counter PM Imran Khan, he added.

The anti-development elements could not hoodwink the people through propaganda and the citizens would not forgive those who are trying to create political unrest in the country, the CM concluded.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved one crore, 91 lakh and 25 thousand rupees for the treatment of 24 deserving patients in different medical institutions.

According to details, Rs.26.23 lakh is released for cancer patient Yasmin Nazir of Jhang, Rs.25 lakh for Abdul Wahab of Lahore, 3.6 lakh for the treatment for liver patient Zainab Bibi of Sheikhupura, 5.84 lakh for Touqeer Ahmad of Gujrat, 6.71 lakh for neuro-patient Naheed Akhter of Khushab, 5 lakh for liver patient Muhammad Waheed of Mianwali, 5 lakh for Sughran Bibi of Sargodha, 3.6 lakh for liver patient Rashid Ali of Lahore, 13.50 lakh for Ali Husnain from Okara, 13.50 lakh for Noor Fatima of Okara, 27 lakh for Saira Bibi and Laila Bibi of Bhakar, 13.50 lakh for Muhammad Ayyan of Lahore, 13.50 lakh for Hadia Shabbir of Lahore, 6.56 lakh for cancer patient Laraib Kehkashan of Lahore, 4 lakh for cancer patient Lubna Shaheen of Sheikhupura, 3.6 lakh for liver patient Muhammad Iqbal of Pakpattan, 3.6 lakh for liver patient Mazhar Riaz of Lahore, 2 lakh for kidney patient Mohsin Ali of Lahore, 3.6 lakh for liver patient Ata Ullah khan of Faisalabad, 2 lakh for Muhammad Imran of Sahiwal, 2 lakh for kidney patient Naveed Anjum Paul of Gujranwala, 1.20 lakh for kidney patient Iqbal Begum of Faisalabad, 1.39 lakh for kidney patient Shujat Qureshi of Lahore and 2 lakh rupees have been issued for kidney patient Khalid Hussain of Lahore.

In this regard, the CM has reiterated that funds would be provided to treat the deserving patients because serving ailing humanity is the essence of democracy.
