Qatar to provide scholarships for Afghan students

Islamic Emirate of Afghani-stan’s delegation leading by Amir Khan Muttaqi meets with Qatari civil and educational institution’s repre-sentatives late Tuesday.

According to BNA, “The meeting fo-cuses on human rights, capacity building, higher education, humani-tarian aids and providing scholar-ships for Afghan students, Ministry of Foreign affairs states in a newslet-ter.

The authorities of Qatar promised to provides scholarships for Afghan student and as well provision of hu-manitarian aids through red cres-cent society for the needy people of Afghanistan.

On the other hand, officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan asked authorities of Qatar to invest in Af-ghanistan and cooperate marketing in fresh and dry fruits of Afghani-stan.

Meanwhile, a delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan led by Amir Khan Muttaqi left for Qatar on Sunday to meet with representatives European Union, Gulf countries, and Muslim scholars.—BNA
