Spokesperson and Special Assistant to CM Punjab Hasaan Khawar has paid special visit to Lahore Gulshan e Iqbal Park.
He went to the park on a private car without any protocol and entered the park with proper checking following Covid SOPs.
The surprise visit’s aim was to check the conditions and facilities for the public. He talked to the public there asking about the facilities of the park.
He admired the work of Director General of Parks and Horticulture Authority regarding the cleanliness of the park though he advised to improve it further.
He advised the authority to utilise the closed building inside the park for the convenience of people.
He also advised to repair the rides and reopen them for the entertainment purpose. Hasaan suggested to add more fishes in lake inside the Gulshan e Iqbal park and the activity of boating shall also be resume for the public.
He took notice on the damaged golf carts and advised them to repair it soon.
Special assistant advocated the idea to take on board Punjab food authority to check the food quality in canteens and stalls in the park.
Also, the safety of the rides in the park should also be inspected by the relevant consultants.
The cleanliness of washrooms shall also be improved by the authority.
He admired the PHA work of floriculture in the park and said that it’s a good outing spot for the families and the government is here to provide all the necessary facilities and safety to the public. He suggested that public should also follow Covid SOPs in the park to ensure safe picnics in the park.
