Days after the arrival of Turkey’s first charity train that delivered 750 tonnes of relief assistance, the second train carrying 921 tonnes of emergency goods has departed in coordination with the Turkish government and is supposed to arrive in Afghani-stan through Iran and Turkmenistan.
The 45-wagon train is carrying aid from 16 humani-tarian organizations and is coordinated with state-run Disaster and Emergency Management Presi-dency. Turkey’s Deputy Interior Minister Ismail Catakli said that they have been extending a helping hand to those in need from not only Afghanistan but also Yemen and Myanmar.
