Need and purpose of charity
Need and purpose of charity is most important in our society because charity plays a huge part in everyday life for Muslim around the world. As we know that, charity is most important in Islam, in fact charity is the third pillar of Islam. Several different categories of charity are defined in Islam.
The two most common being ‘zakat’ (obligatory charity) and ‘sadqa’ (voluntary charity). But the main purpose of charity is to help others. So charity is essential and therefore meant to be done for public benefit, relieve and to provide assistance to people at times of need in any part of the world, especially who are the victims of war, natural disaster, catastrophe, hunger, disease, poverty, orphans by supplying them with food, shelter, medical aid and other fundamental needs.
Such charitable purposes can gain momentum from advancing the education of young people for the public benefit by making grants and awards to students in full-time education when considering poverty in developing world.
People feel deep sorrow but seem to put no effort whatsoever to reduce the problem. Poverty in today’s Pakistan has turned out to be sinister and we lay passive towards the problem. Therefore such attitude has made us powerless to stop it.
However charity serves as a way to bring justice ,balance and kindness to every society and community now it is our hope and the main purpose and need of the Muslim community fulfill their charitable duty correctly and does their part to eliminating poverty in communities everywhere.

Incomplete constitution
Pakistan Peoples Party has always taken pride about the fact that their leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave Constitution of 1973 to Pakistan.
With the recent crisis in the reappointment of Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Jawed Bajwa, Supreme Court of Pakistan has raised so many questions about approval of appointment, reappointment and extension in the service of present COAS who was scheduled to retire on 29th November 2019.
Isn’t it very shocking that in the 72 years of Pakistan, neither any political party nor Supreme Court of Pakistan, which interprets the Constitution, had time to read, understand and raise questions about the incomplete constitution of Pakistan.
Now that we have come to a point where our highest court has raised some valid and pertinent questions about our constitution, it is high time the government appoints a team of law experts and revisit the entire constitution and make amendments with clarity as and where needed.

Let’s green Balochistan
Without food we can live for three days, without water we can also live for three, but without air we can’t live for three minutes. We need to think where the oxygen is coming from? Plants exhale oxygen and inhale carbon dioxide and give the fresh air which we need in our lives to breath. Lack of plants means life is impossible on earth as a result lack of fresh air gives birth multiple diseases. Plants function as lungs in environment. Three months ago, the Chief Minister exhorted the the youth of Balochistan to grow one million trees in Balochistan. We, the Youth can play a great role with regard to plantation and we can tell the citizens about the importance of the plantation.
I would like to request the youth of Balochistan to come forward with something new to green our province and save us from fatal diseases, so that we can live longer.

Fake medicines
I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the massive issue of selling fake medicines in Pakistan. It is very shameful to mention that life saving drugs that the people buy with the hope that they may get relief from their pain and protection of their lives. But unfortunately, those medicines are the cause of their death in most of the cases.
According to a report many companies illegally sell fake medicines to the medical stores in less price and sometimes the expired-dates of the expired medicines are removed and sold to the innocent people despite the fact that they can lose their lives. Hundreds of people die in Pakistan each year after consuming counterfeit medicines.
Therefore, the concerned authorities are requested to take action on this actionable issue for the protection of our lives.

As all countries have problems but Pakistan is the only country which have many problems. There are more then 1000 of issues but some of them are these, poverty, corruption, unemployment, diseases, population, poverty Pakistan is one of the most poor country in world just because of not getting job many educated people who have done MAD yet they are sitting in home. Corruption now a day corruption is very common in Pakistan and every one is correct and doing it. Population is very high as now a day people are facing too many problems. I request to the PM to take care of such problems in Pakistan.

Pollution and its impact
I am writing this letter to you to express my deep concern over the problem of pollution in our city, which is affecting the environment drastically. As you already know ours is an industrial city. The dying mills release at least 300 million liters of waste water into the Sutlej River on daily basis. This waste water contains harmful chemicals like arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and chrome.
These chemicals have already killed the aquatic life. Moreover the smoke arising from the factory chimneys has polluted the air badly. I want to draw the attention of the people as well as the concerned authorities to the seriousness of the problem.
The mills and factory owners are violating the environmental laws by not treating the waste water and the smoke before releasing it into the environment. The corrupt environment officers are letting it happen just because of the hush-money they receive from the culprit owners. But we the residents are suffering.
The environment authorities responsible for preserving the environment must ensure the mills and factories owners follow the environmental protection rules and regulations by properly treating effluents and the toxic smoke in the pollution treatment plants before releasing them into the environment.
I appeal to the public to raise their voice against these unethical practices. The environment ministry should look into the matter and take immediate action against the law breakers. The people should come forward to save our environment from the curse called pollution

They are not criminals
The 29 Aarey protesters who were arrested on October 4 and 5, 2019 and slapped with criminal charges by the Mumbai police under various sections are not criminals nor are they rioters.
They were only peaceful protesters doing their duty to protect the environment from being damaged. Most of them arrested were college students who have only raised their voices to protect the environment from being damaged. The criminal charges slapped against them under various sections should be withdrawn immediately as they will not be able to apply for a job nor renew their passports or apply for a new one.

“Violence against Women”
The status of women has always been considered inferior to that of her male partner. Pakistan is a place where families are happy when they are blessed with a boy and go as far as to get abortion on demand once they find out that they are going to have a girl. Fundamentalists are everywhere, but most women in Pakistan still do not enjoy the same rights and freedom that their brother or father enjoys.
Equal rights are a separate story, but women in many countries have barely any rights at all. Most of them are regarded as second-class citizens and are subject to a great deal of abuse. People in our society show their anger at the women in their homes and find it their right to treat them as they wish.
Violence against women Pakistan is an unfortunate trend. In terms of physical violence, violence consists of economic, psychological, physiological and emotional abuse. On average, the number of deaths of women in Pakistan reaches the high number of about 5000, with thousands of women being disabled or tortured.
An observational study was conducted and published in the Medical Sciences Journal of Pakistan. It was based on the pure 218 tests in three hospitals ‘ gynaecology department. Approximately 97 percent of the women surveyed said they were victims of domestic violence, including verbal abuse, threats, non-consensual sex and beatings, etc.
The law does not find domestic violence to be a crime, and women do not receive help even if they report it to the authorities. Most of them rely too much on their fathers or husbands, so they can’t go against them. All this power gives men the opportunity to treat women as they please. In Pakistan, therefore, domestic violence against women is also a major issue.
Whenever a male has to take revenge from anyone, being called the dignity of their homes, it causes harm to the household’s people. Whenever a man commits a crime against some girl, the village chiefs punish him in rural areas by asking him to give his sister as a peace offering. The girl must bear the consequences of the crime committed by her brother or father.

Dowry is a social evil
Hardly a day passes by when one does not hear news about a young woman taking her own life because of constant harassment by her in-laws, or of a new bride being beaten to death by her greedy husband in connivance with his family.
Despite the discouraging numbers of abuse, many women have successfully stood up against the demands of dowry and their example should be emulated by others. It is often heard that dowry is a tradition and hence socially acceptable. The girl’s parents try to fulfils all the demands so that their daughter would be at peace once she has to live with her in-laws. However, the demands gradually increase to the point where her parents are often on the verge of bankruptcy.
The government has introduced legislation to prevent this practice and has made it a punishable offence. Moreover, the act of giving dowry should also be a crime so that people stop giving in to this pressure.
Media should play a very important role in combating this social evil. Running advertisements against the custom of dowry featuring popular personalities can have a strong impact.Boys should refuse to accept dowry. Thank you!

Road accidents and reckless driving
Through your newspaper I would like to draw the kind attention of concerned authorities towards the Road accidents and reckless driving problem
The number of road accidents is on the increase. Many people get killed or injured in these accidents. The government should do something about it.
I suggest:
(1) A driver who drives his car or bus too fast should be checked by the police. His driving licence should be seized. Then he should be fined rather heavily.
(2) The main roads should be broader. There should be two-way traffic on as many roads as possible.
(3) The encroachments on the roads, which block the free flow of traffic, should be removed.
(4) Different programs highlighting the best ways of motorcycle, car and bus driving should be presented on the radio, TV and internet.
I invite others to make their suggestions towards solving traffic problems and I hope all these suggestions are meant to be acted on.
