In order to provide better communicational facilities to the commuters, the Punjab In order to provide better communicational facilities to the commuters, the Punjab government has allocated Rs. 58 billion to construct and repair of roads in the Province including district Hafizabad in current fiscal year budget.
This was stated by the Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Punjab, Muhammad Mamoon Tarar while addressing foundation stone laying ceremony held at Jalalpur Bhattian. He laid foundation stone of rehabilitation and carpeting of Jalalpur Bhattian-Kot Hara road at Vaneki Chowk Jalalpur Bhattian.
Addressing on this occasion, he said that this road would be completed with the cost of Rs.2041 million and better communicational facilities would be available to people of more than 150 villages of area as well as other districts including Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Sargodha.
He said that this road had been ignored for last 30 years and deteriorated condition of this road caused accidents, as a result of which, precious human lives had been wasted but present government of PTI particularly Chief Minister of the Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar was acknowledge longstanding demand of people and accorded approval to rehabilitate this road and now construction work has been launched.
He said that this road would be completed with the cost of Rs.2041 million while construction work on Jalalpur Bhattian-Sukheki Mandi and Hafizabad-Sukheki Mandi roads would be started soon. He said that all electoral promises were being fulfilled gradually and the Chief Minister of the Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced special development package of Rs. 30 billion for the district Hafizabad whereas construction work on several had been started for ensuring provision of different amenities of life to the masses at their doorsteps.
