As per the policy of Punjab Government, services of 200 contract employees of Lahore General Hospital of Grade 1 to 15 have been regularized. After meeting the condition of contract these employees have expressed joy and happiness and thanked the authorities on this positive step.
Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Prof. Dr. Sardar Muhammad Al-fareed Zafar told in this regard that out of these 200 employees, 118 belong to the scale 1to 4 while 82 are from scale 5 to 15 who were serving in different cadres on contract basis earlier.
Principal PGMI/LGH congratulated all these employees and expressed hope that they would now serve with more dedication and devotion and leave no stone unturned to discharge their duties with more commitment.
Prof. Sardar Muhammad Al-fareed Zafar said that medical profession and hospital administration have close liaison and these staff members of Lahore General Hospital have great significance in providing better health facilities to the patients coming in the hospital.
Medical Superintendent of LGH Dr. Mahmood Salah Uddin told that documents of all these 200 employees were got verified before regularization. He also congratulated these persons whose contract has been finished and converted as regular service.
Dr Mahmood Salah Uddin said that now these 200 employees would be serving with more zeal and fervor and discharge their duties to the best satisfaction of their superiors.—INP
