CEO orders inquiry against physical punishment to student

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education Attock has ordered an inquiry under which a student of private school was allegedly tortured by a teacher of a private school.

Deputy District Education Officer Syed Taqi Abbas Shah will conduct the inquiry Physical punishment to students is strictly banned and the teachers involved in such cases will be dealt with severely and even action will be taken against the School administration.

Chief Executive Officer Education Attock Mohsin Abbas Malik said this while talking to that action will be taken and no lenient view will be taken. It is worth mentioning that Lal Khan s/o Ghulam Khan told journalists that his brother Shahzeb a student of 9th class studying in a private school was severely beaten by his teacher resulting in damaging his ear which resulted in loss of his hearing ability.

He further said that the teacher was approached in this context who said he punished the student (Shahzeb ) for not studying properly and will do the same if students fail to study properly . Lal Khan said that he had submitted a written complaint in this regard with the relevant authorities.
