Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, light rain with light snow over the hills is expected in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir. Dense fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Tuesday morning included Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore eight, Karachi eleven, Peshawar four, Quetta minus four, Gilgit one, Murree minus one and Muzaffarabad five degree centigrade.
The local Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for city for next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature 19 centigrade and the lowest minimum 07 centigrade were recorded during last 24 hours.—INP
