In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the territory, today, appealing the people to observe the Indian Republic Day, the January 26, as Black Day.

India celebrates Republic Day to mark the date when the Indian Constitution came into effect in 1950, which was to make the country a secular state. The posters, displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Sada-e-Mazloom, Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Azadi, Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Move-ment, Jammu and Kashmir Hurriyat Youth Forum and Jammu and Kashmir Justice and Peace Initia-tive, were pasted on walls, pillars and electricity poles in Srinagar and other areas of the territory, urging the people to observe the Indian Republic Day as Black Day.—KMS
