Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza has visited different areas including Jannah Chowk, Bus Stand, Gujranwala road, Kossoki Road, Alipur road of the city during rain to review drainage of rain water and cleanliness process.
Assistant Commissioner Murad Hussain and Chief Officer Municipal Committee Hafizabad Haider Ali Chatha were also accompanied by him.
DC directed the officers and other staff to remain in the field till drainage of rainwater completely and would ensure clearance of rainwater from all areas of the city earliest.
Talking to mediamen during the visit, Deputy Commissioner said that all available resources were being utilized to ensure drainage of rainwater and cleanliness for providing relief to the people.
He said that warning had been given to officers and sanitary staff of the Municipal Committee Hafizabad already that negligence and lethargic attitude to ensure cleanliness and drainage of rainwater would not be tolerated at all Responding to a question.
