The Department of English (FOL), National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad organized an interactive event titled Integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Language Classroom.
Ms. Ruth Dickenson presented lesson planning and activity design methods for integrating SDGs in language teaching.
Teachers from all departments of Faculty of Languages participated in it. Dr. Mian Khurram Shahzad Azam, Head Department of English (FOL) presented the writing and speaking activities at the department , used for the understanding of Climate Change and other SDGs along with improving the language skills of the learners . Dr. Jamil Asghar Jami, Dean Faculty of Languages, NUML, Islamabad was the Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of Department of English (FOL) in creating awareness amongst students about Climate Change, Clean Water and sustainable life style through language learning activities and teaching practices.
