A World Bank (WB) delegation called on Hasaan Khawar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Information and Tourism, and discussed various proposals for tourist facilities at Murree and other tourist destinations in the province.
Several issues came under consideration regarding opening rescue centers in Murree and for load management of tourists in collaboration with World Bank. SACM on Information and Tourism directed Tourism department to prepare a comprehensive plan for traffic management in Murree and emphasized on effective awareness campaign in this regard.
It was decided in the meeting that special centers would be set up in collaboration with the World Bank for providing awareness and information to tourists.
The World Bank will also assist the tourists at tourist destinations.
