Two Islamic Emirate force members injured in blast

Two members of the Islamic Emirate forces were injured in an explosion in Kabul on Wednesday, officials said.

Aqil Jan Ozam, deputy spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said the explosion targeted a military ve-hicle in Police District 9 of Kabul city at around 11am on Wednesday.

Officials of the Ministry of Interior did not provide further details, but said an investigation is under-way.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.—Agencies
