Pakistan Maritime Security Agency is organizing exercise Barracuda-XI from 11-13 January 2022.
Land phase of exercise commenced on 12 Wednesday at Sea View Beach with rehearsal of contingency response to an oil spill incident on land. DG PMSA, 27 foreign observers, delegates from 15 countries and a large number of National stakeholders, observed the drills and beach cleaning carried out by PMSA, PN and Civil Agencies.
Subsequently, foreign observers and delegates alongwith DG PMSA visited PMSA ships. Commanding officers of the PMSA ships briefed the guests about the operational capabilities of the ships and showed simulated operations carried out by PMSA ships. Foreign observers and delegates appreciated the efforts of PMSA for Law Enforcement at sea.—PR
