Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday sought a report from the Chief Minister Balochistan on the damages caused by recent rains.
The Prime Minister asked the National Disaster Management Authority to give immediate relief to the affectees in Gwadar and Turbat. He said the affectees should be given all possible assistance.
Pakistan Army, Navy and FC troops are busy in rescue and relief efforts in Gawadar district since coastal belt of Balochistan was hit by heavy rainfall. Special relief efforts being undertaken in isolated villages of Kulanch, Sardasht and Sunstar valleys.
Army/ FC/ Pakistan Coast Guards have established medical camps and distributing rations to flood victims and Gawadar old town also remained focus of dewatering operation.
The PDMA has provided tents, blankets and rations through Army aviation helicopters, in remote areas. The damage assessment is also underway to reach out to stranded families and channelize/ render relief to far flung areas. The PAF C 130 sorties loaded with rations/ clothing have also been flown to assist population of Pasni.

Pakistan Navy (PN) carried out rescue and relief operations in the rain-affected areas of Balochistan on Friday.
According to the spokesperson for Pakistan Navy, food packets and drinking water were distributed in the affected areas of Balochistan, while medical teams of the Pakistan Navy have established several camps. PN troops shifted stranded people to safer places and prov ded food and shelter to them.People were provided free medicines after the check-up at the camps. Troops of the Pakistan Navy also helped the civil administration in draining out the accumulated rain water and vowed to help the masses in every way they could.
