UN nominee of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Suhail Shaheen said that the current assurance of security in Afghanistan and the region is because of the existence of the Taliban’s interim government.
Suhail Shaheen in a series of Twitter posts said that during US presence in Afghanistan in the past two decades, the Taliban were both fighting against foreigners and had stopped robberies and kidnapping.“
The Mujahideen (Taliban affiliates) were both fighting against the US occupation and had also stopped robberies and kidnapping in the past twenty years. When Taliban entered Kabul, security in the city was ensured because of IEA.”
