The cryptocurrency market remained mixed on Friday, with market capitalisation gaining 0.8 percent to reach $2.38 trillion.

As of 1300 hours GMT, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin’s price went up by 0.65 percent to $47,940. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of the biggest crypto has reached $906.8 billion. During the session, Bitcoin crossed the $48,000 mark but failed to sustain above it till filing of this report.

Ether, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, gained 1.10 percent to reach $3,789. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $445.8 billion.—TLTP
