There will be a live telecast of the Asia Cup U-19 final between Sri Lanka and Indian teams.

The match will be played at the Dubai Sports City ground on Friday. There was no live telecast of the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s till the semifinal matches.

Sri Lanka’s Roshan Abeysinghe is one of the commentators broadcasters have chosen. “It is not that I got this assignment because Sri Lanka has won the semifinal against Pakistan on Thursday. I was on the panel any way”, he said over telephone before boarding a flight to Dubai from Colombo.

Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 22 runs and will now play against India which won against the Bangla-desh team by 103 runs.

“Definitely we like to play against India”, Suranga Wellalage, the father of Lanka’s U-19 cap-tain Dunith Wellalage said exclusively over the telephone.

“Pakistani team is good but didn’t play that well in the match. I thought the wicket was not that good to bat”, he added.
