QUETTA – At least four people were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion on Jinnah Road in Balochistan’s capital on Thursday evening.
The blast occurred near the main gate of the Government Science College. Security forces have cordoned off the areas.

Rescue officials have shifted the injured people to Civil Hospital for treatment.
Following an initial investigation, the Director-General of Police Syed Fida Hussain Shah said that 2.5 kilogrammes of explosives were planted on a pole.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo condemned the incident and had instructed the IGP to submit a report related to the blast.
At the same time, the provincial adviser to the chief minister on the interior was directed to beef up the security in the city.
