Punjab Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that work orders of approved new schemes will be issued soon assuring 100% utilization of development funds.
He stated this while chairing a meeting here at Civil Secretariat on Wednesday during which the implementation of schemes of the Department of Industry and Commerce under the annual development program was reviewed.
While addressing the meeting, Mian Aslam Iqbal directed to accelerate the pace of work on development schemes and warned that there was no place in the department for heads of institutions failing to utilize development funds. He said that the process of recruitment and promotion in the Department of Industry and Commerce and its allied wings should be expedited.
