Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to five scholars in different subjects after approval of their thesis.
According to details, Sadia Zahid D/o Muhammad Zahid was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Methylation Profile of Promoters of IRS1 and IRS2 Genes in Hepatitis C Virus 3a Genotype Induced Diabetes Patients from Punjab’, Shaista Arif D/o Muhammad Arif in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Immunological Evaluation of Esx-1 Substrate and PPE Family Fusion Proteins of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis’, Maliha Ameen D/o Muhammad Ameen Javaid in the subject of Communication Studies after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Observance of English as a Second Language in Academic and professional Career Development of Journalism and Communication Studies Students’, Sawaira Rashid D/o Rashid Mehmood in the subject of Political Science after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Changing Political and Military Environment in South Asia: US-India Strategic Partnership and its Impact on Pakistan’s Security Concerns (2000-2019)’ and Asma Ashraf D/o Muhammad Ashraf was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Chemical Engineering after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Air Staged Co-combustion of Coal and Agricultural Residues’.
