Drug trafficker held, 200kg hashish recovered

The CIAs Special Investigation Unit (SIU) recovered huge cache of drugs and arrested a drug trafficker during a successful raid here in the metropolis on Saturday.

According to SSP Arif Aziz, the SIU of CIA on a tip-off raided a house in Ittehad Town of Karachi.

During operation, 200 kilogram high quality hashish stocked in the house was recovered and a member of intra-country drugs trafficker gang was arrested.

The detainee in the preliminary investigation revealed that the recovered hashish was to be smuggled to Qatar but CIA foiled the bid. The gang was also involved in smuggling drugs to different countries of Middle East.
