The exchange rate of rupee against US dollar remained stable on Thursday and was traded at Rs177.98 of a dollar, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported.
However, according to Forex Association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs180.2 and Rs181.4 respectively.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro appreciated by Rs 0.71 and was traded at Rs201.19 against the last closing of Rs200.48.
The exchange rate of Japanese Yen lost one paisa to close at Rs1.55, whereas an increase of 20 paisas was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs236.05 as compared to last closing of Rs235.85.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham remained stable at Rs48.45 whereas Saudi Rayal decreased by 01 paisa and was traded at Rs47.43.—APP
