President International Diplomat Business Club and Former Ambassador Javed Malik has said that an International Business delegation comprising of Arab and Turkish and British businessmen will be visiting Pakistan in the early 2020 to explore business and investment opportunities in the energy sector focusing on Solar and Renewable Energy. He said discussions are currently underway various entities in Pakistan to work out the details of the visit to ensure that the business delegation can have meaningful meetings. Javed Malik expressed the hope that the government entities both in Islamabad and Punjab will extend their cooperation to make the visit successful.
While commenting on the investment climate in Pakistan, Javed Malik said that we are not deterred by the challenges that we sometimes face when attracting foreign businessmen to visit Pakistan, because we focus on the smart investors who truly understand the potential that Pakistan offers. He said that smart investors, particularly those with regional experience with developing countries are always keen to explore new opportunities. Javed Malik further added that Diplomat Business Club, is a global network of businessmen and diplomats and through its work with various countries it has strong strategic associations with international companies that are seeking opportunities to expand their operations globally.
