Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman said that government is taking practical steps to save minorities’ rights and to protect their places of worship. He expressed these views in a meeting with the minority’s parliamentarians including MNA Jamshed Tomus and MPA Wislon Wazir who called on him here at governor house on Wednesday.
The present political situation and administrative affairs in the province especially all over the country were discussed in a meeting in detailed. The minority’s parliamentarian showed confidence over the steps taken by the government for the welfare of the minorities in all over the country especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said there is no difference of opinion among Christian community in this regard.
Talking to minorities' parliamentarians the governor said the Constitution ensures equal rights for minorities living in the country and all communities are enjoying equal rights.
