Former president of Lahore High Court Bar, Asia’s largest bar and member Punjab Bar Council Muhammad Asim Cheema calls on Acting Governor Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at Governor House.
Additional Advocate General Punjab Nadir Manzoor Duggal, Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Adv. and Malik Maqsood Khokhar former General Secretary Lahore Bar were also present on the occasion.
Ch Parvez Elahi also gave notification to Muhammad Asim Cheema Advocate for appointment of President Pakistan Muslim League Lawyers Wing Punjab.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that lawyers should continue to play their role in providing speedy and cheap justice, at this time the society needs a positive role of lawyers.
He said that the PML lawyers have always been followed positive politics which is why our party’s lawyers represent in all the lawyers’ organizations of Pakistan.
On the occasion, President Lawyers Wing Muhammad Asim Cheema thanked Ch Parvez Elahi and said that he would do his best to fulfill the trust placed in him by the party and I will highlight the party’s manifesto and services to the lawyers’ community.
Meanwhile, Former Nazim Syed Fazal Abbas called on Acting Governor Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at Governor House and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League along with his colleagues.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that joining the party of Syed Fazal Abbas is appreciated. He said that local body elections are an effective method of providing rights to the people, Pakistan Muslim League will participate in local body elections from all over Punjab.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that the immediate and only solution to the basic problems of the people are independent local bodies, if the people get the solution of their problems on the doorstep then the culture of brotherhood including peace and order will be promoted in the society.
On this occasion, Syed Fazal Abbas said that Ch Parvez Elahi as the Chief Minister had played an important role in alleviating the deprivations of South Punjab. Ch Parvez Elahi is a person who shares people’s sorrows, we will move forward with his vision.
