Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Trade Senator Zeeshan Khanzada on Friday said that the PTI government had borrowed 46 billion dollars during the past three years.
“The masses are with the PTI in the local body elections and the PTI will win by great majority.
He expressed these views while talking to the media at Mardan Press Club. He termed his recent visit to the United State (US) as a success and said that the purpose of the visit was to increase exports and boost the IT sector.
He added that he met with Shehla Jackson Lee, Chairperson of Pakistan Affairs Committee, US Member of Parliament.
Zeeshan Khanzada added that he also arranged meeting with Eric Anderson, Head of Corporate Affairs, General Council, Google, TickTalk, Twitter and Facebook. He added that twitter, tick talk, facebook will open their regional offices in Pakistan.
He added that it will make it easier for the security agencies to control cyber crime. He said that American companies would invest in Pakistan which would provide job opportunities to the youth and pay them in dollars.
He argued that Google, Twitter and Facebook offices will enable our security agencies to catch cyber criminals.
Answering a question about the current inflation in the country he said that the PTI government is trying its best to give relief to the masses, however due to the international loans borrowed by former rulers’ create a lot of problems.
He added that the PTI government borrowed 46 billion dollars in the last three years and repaid 34 billion dollars and other interest.
He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan give priority to long term planning. He added that the fruits of these long period planning will take time.
He added that due to long planning Bangladesh, Vietnam and India went ahead of us. He added that our export has crossed 2 billion dollars in the current time while the export of India is approximately 30 billion dollars. He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan is trying his best to increase the export of the country.
Answering about the local government election in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa he added that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will win the local government election with a great majority in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
