Five dacoits were injured and two fled in two separate encounters with police in Lahore on Friday.
According to the police, the wounded dacoits have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital where their condition was now said to be stable.
In the first encounter which took place in the Sundar area of Lahore, four dacoits received injuries in the exchange of fire with the members of the Dolphin Force while two were succeeded in escaping from the scene.
The injured dacoits who were identified as Waheed Ahmad, Atif Sohail, Muhammad Adeel and Umair were shifted to Jinnah Hospital where they were out of danger now.
The Dolphin personnel also seized three pistols and two motorcycles of the dacoits.
In the second encounter which took place in the Mahmood Booti area of Baghbanpura late last night, a dacoit, identified as Imran, was injured in an encounter with police personnel who challenged him after he committed a dacoity.
