Polio campaign in KP’s 11 districts starts

Emergency Operations Center Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (EOC KP) launches four days anti-polio campaign in 11 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Monday in response to the polio cases and continuous virus circulation in the region.
Anti-polio campaign will start from Monday November 18, 2019 and will continue till Thursday November 21, 2019, which will be followed by catchup of missed children on the fifth day in District Torghar, Kohistan Upper, Kohistan Lower, Kolae Palas, Shangla, Battagram, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Charsadda and Momand.
In the entire 9 districts 1193209 children below the age of 5 years will be vaccinated by 4800 teams: comprising 4162 mobile teams, 427 fixed teams, 182 transit teams and 33 roaming teams.
