The Nur International University (NIU), Lahore, welcomed new students through Fall 2021 Orientation Ceremony, held here.
The ceremony was attended by all new students from different departments including Applied Sciences, Basic Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Management Sciences.
Orientation Ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. NIU Acting Vice Chancellor Salem Rehman, in his welcome address, thanked the students for selecting NIU. He shared that the new students are joining almost 3000 other students from Medicine, Dentistry, Allied Health and Nursing at Nur-Fatima Memorial System (NUR-FMS).
Salem Rehman said, “You are joining us as the NUR-FMS family, as you start this journey, remember that we are truly a family. It is our role to provide you with an opportunity and a launching pad.
It is your role to work hard, put in the effort towards your ambition to become the best that you can. Prof Dr NaziaYazdanie, Advisor NIU, shared that NIU believes in developing professionals and facilitates intellectual development and growth of the students. She added that the value of education is not just to find the facts, but training the mind to refine that knowledge.
NIU provides excellent learning opportunities through research, conferences, seminars and webinars for professional development of the students.
