People belonging to different professions on Sunday strongly condemned the feudalistic system in the country and stressed the need to get united and defeat it through education.
According to detail, speakers including intellectuals, educationists, poets, students, journalists who gathered at a seminar organized by Awami Rabta Tehreek here on Sunday criticized the feudalist system and given suggestions how to come out from this.
The seminar was organized in connection with memory of Nazim Jokhio and Fahmida Siyal, here in Thatta press club on Sunday.
President ART advocat Sarwar Palijo, menber Sindh Bar Council advocate Ashraf Samo, nationalists leader Nawaz Khan Zahour, advocate Ashraf Samo, Akash Mallah of Sindh Sufi Sangat, advocate Tanzeela Khaskheli, Heer Azad Zaur have viewed that feudalistic system is overwhelm that resources of Sindh and it is main hindrance in modern scientific system and also capturing the livelihoods of a common man.
They stated that this system have compelled the people either to accept slavery or to get ready for dire consequences.
They viewed that Nazim was the man who challenged this and was killed in sequel of not accepting slavery. They urged upon the people to get rid of the feudalistic system by getting education.
Meanwhile Sindh Government has handed over various buildings, faculties and agricultural land to the authorities of Sindh Agricultural University for further expansion of its sub-campus at Umerkot.
