Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah said Friday that old age homes should be set up in all districts for the convenience of senior citizens and the government of Sindh would provide all possible facilities.
The Chief Secretary stated this while visiting Dar-ul-Sukun-A Home For The Senior Citizens in Karachi.
During this, Shah met senior citizens at the old age home, during which Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah inquired about their health and facilities at the old age home.
Shah while meeting the Darul Sukun administration said that we all have a duty to serve our parents.
He further said that Allah Almighty has said in the Qur’an that worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him and treat your parents well.
Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah said that such old age homes should be set up in all districts of Sindh and Sindh Government would provide all possible facilities for this purpose.
