Government endeavouring to make Pakistan a country with no discrimination on basis of religion

Promoting religious harmony and tolerance is the need of the hour to stop the rising tide of “Islamophobia” around the world.

By following the principles laid down in it, we can make the whole world of Islam the cradle of peace. Anti-Islamic forces are involved in conspiracies to create hypocrisy among Muslims to achieve their nefarious aims.

For the development and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, hatred must be eradicated and unity, brotherhood, fraternity and tolerance must be adopted.

These views were expressed by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri while addressing a seminar on the occasion of “World Tolerance Day” organized by Rabita-e-Alam-e-Islami Pakistan.

The seminar was attended by Pir Naqib-ur-Rehman, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Regional Director Rabita Alam-e-Islami Saad Masood Al-Harsi, Advisor to Prime Minister Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman Islamic Ideological Council Pir Qibla Ayaz, President Islamic University Prof. Dr. Hathal Homond Al-Otaibi , Allama Hafiz Abid Hussain Shakri, Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Deputy Ameer Ahl e Hadees Hafiz Masood Ahmed, Chairman Pakistan Sanatan Dharm Pandit Rakesh Chand, Minority Leader Babu Sajid Amin Khokhar and others also addressed the gathering.

The seminar was also attended by Chairman Qamar Jahan Foundation Dr. Jamal Nasir, Rector Islamic International University Dr. Masoom Yaseen Zai, President Punjab Traders Association Sharjeel Mir, Shakeel Kayani, Javed Butt, Qari Muhammad Yousuf and others personalities from all schools of thought. The aim of the Seminar was to promote religious harmony and tolerance.

Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that Islam has provided protection to minorities, they have the right to enjoy their rights.

There should be no objection, because Islam has given religious freedom to all religions. He said that our government wants to create a Pakistan in which there is no discrimination on the basis of religion.

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki said that Saudi King Mohammed bin Suleiman is leading the mission of establishing peace in the world. Regional Director Rabta-e-Alam-e-Islami Saad Masood Al-Harsi said that Rabita-e-Alam Islami is continuing its mission of welfare of humanity and religious harmony.

The world is suffering from “Islamophobia”, Islam is the messenger of peace, Abuse is not taught. Islam is a religion of complete security. The truth of religious extremism is harming the Muslim Ummah. Minorities also have the right to live according to their beliefs, by which they can’t be deprived of.

Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that Khadim Al-Harmain Al-Sharifan has brought everyone together to promote peace in the world. The government has served humanity the most in the world.

The speakers expressed concern over the growing trend of “Islamophobia” around the world and said that Islam is a champion of peace, brotherhood, love, tolerance and tolerance should be spread.
