Welcomes current OIC delegation visit

Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, an ex-premier of AJK and now supreme head of Muslim Conference has suggested to visiting high level Organisation of Islamic Cooperation delegation to combine its Kashmir dispute solution role with the UN Security Council to achieve peaceful 1948 UN-devised settlement roadmap.
Sardar Attique, in his welcome media statement here Wednesday evening, warmly hailed the highlevel visit to Pakistan/Azad Jammu and Kashmir by Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Secretary General Ambassador Yousef Dobeay with seven senior OIC members appealing it to pay an urgent fact finding visit to the Indian-held part of Kashmir.
He said in occupied Kashmir horrendous violations of human rights are resorted to by over one million Indian armed forces chiefly after August 5, 2019 abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A and bifurcation of the Indian militarized Kashmir and its unlawful annexation to Indian union territory.
Besieged 113 million Kashmiris, women and children and the aged ones, are looking towards Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and UNO to help implement UN and India’s own Kashmir solution pledges, he added.
Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s Kashmir cause support is massively being acknowledged across the state of J&K and Kashmiri diaspora, he assured.
Sardar Attique reminded that the presence in Muzafffarabad today of OIC Secretary General Ambassador Yousef Dobeay with his seven-member delegation is expressive of political and ideological solidarity of Organization of Islamic Conference with the people of Jammu and Kashmir; we all gratefully welcome this timely visit .
