PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal has said that the Supreme Court should also take notice of the rigging in Daska by-election and summon the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister.
Talking to the media men here on Wednesday, Ahsan Iqbal said the Election Commission of Pakistan report on the rigging in Daska by-poll had exposed government ‘dirty tactics’. He called for the accountability of those involved in the rigging.
“If these people would be held accountable then it will set an example for others in the future,” he added.
Ahsan Iqbal criticizing the NAB said that the Finance Ministry informed that the NAB only submitted Rs6.5 billion in the national exchequer against receiving a supplementary grant of Rs5.5 billion in the last three months. “This is a joke,” he commented. —INP
