PUC decides to hold Ulema convention

Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) has decided to launch a countrywide coordination campaign, holding Ulemas-Mashaykh conventions, training sessions and also announced to convene the Fifth International Message of Islam Conference on February 20, 2022 and to make coordination with world Islamic intellectuals, thinkers and religious scholars on the situation in Afghanistan.

A meeting of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of the Pakistan Ulema Council was held here on Sunday in Lahore in the chair of Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East.

The meeting of Central Majlis-e-Shura of Pakistan Ulema Council was also attended by Ulemas-Mashaykh of Pakistan Ulema Council.

A resolution adopted on this occasion said that police, security agencies and the army of any country are the backbone of the country.

Pakistan Ulema Council Ulema extends its condolences to the families of the Punjab Police personnel, especially those who have been injured and martyred.

May Allah bless them with speedy recovery. We welcome the agreement between the government and Tehreek-e-Labbaik, said Ulemas-Mashaykh.

Ulemas-Mashaykh announced that Fifth World Message of Islam Conference will be held on 20th February 2022, which will be attended by Imam-e-Kaaba, Chief Judge of Palestine, Sheikh Al-Azhar religious scholars and the dignitaries from the Muslim World and five thousand Ulemas-Mashaykh from across Pakistan will attend the World Message of Islam Conference.

Most important dignitaries of the Muslim world will be also invited to attend the Message of Islam Conference.

The Islamic world must work together to eradicate the menace of Islamic phobia, extremism and terrorism.

Ulemas-Mashaykh said that prevailing change in Afghanistan is the most important change and situation in Afghanistan demands that we should work for the stability and peace in Afghanistan.

On this very issue, in the end of December a virtual conference will be held with the scholars and religious leadership of the Islamic world, said Ulemas-Mashaykh.

On the prevailing situation of Afghanistan, consultations are underway with the most important leaders of the Islamic world.

Ulema and Mashaikh conventions will be organized by the Pakistan Ulema Council in major cities across the country.

Ulemas-Mashaykh said that it is responsibility of the religious scholars to educate youths with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The religious sections of the society have also to play their role in ridding the society of obscenity, nudity, extremism, terrorism and takfiri mentality.
