PTI committed to resolve public issues, will overcome inflation soon: Mahmood

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is committed to resolve the public issues and will overcome inflation shortly.

Addressing a public gathering in Baffa district Mansehra on Saturday, he said that wrong policies and agreements of former government led to the ongoing economic ills due to which entire nation had to suffer.

Mahmood Khan expressed his hope that by following the vision of Premier Imran Khan, all the crises would be resolved soon.

He said that the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government took revolution steps of Health Card, Kissan Card which has helped the poor patients to get free treatment upto one million rupees and farmers to get fertilizer and seed on controlled rates.

The provincial government allocated 22 billion rupees for development for Torghar district, adversely neglected during past regimes to bring it in par with developed areas of province, he added. The chief minister assured of resolve water issues in Mansehra district during next two years besides building a medical college ad sports stadium in the district.

He said that Covid-19 adversely affected entire world but incumbent government through its long-term policies and timely initiatives managed the menace successfully.

He said that PTI government completed the motorway project by spending minimum fund and development projects worth 150 billion were underway.

Mahmood Khan assured that the longstanding issue of affectees of quake hit Balakot which was under deferment for last 16 years will also be resolved as soon as possible.

He also announced to give status of sub-division to Baffa, up gradation of Hazara University, provision of cooler system to Mansehra Tableeghi Markaz and construction of hospitals equipped with latest health facilities in farflung areas of Mansehra district.

Besides establishing two new degree colleges in district, railway line will also be extended to Mansehra and work on Siran Canal was also in progress which will irrigate 12000 acres wasteland, he added.

The chief minister announced that one billion rupees will be allocated for construction of road from Data to Shinkiari, one billion rupees for Mansehra graveyard and 25 billion rupees would be spent on resolving the water issue.

The public meeting was also addressed by federal ministers Murad Saeed, Azam Khan Swabi, Zahid Chanzeb, provincial minister Ahmad Hussain Swati and others.
