Essence of Riasat-e-Madina
THOSE do not dream haven’t right for interpretation. The dream is the basic to succeed, to progress, to get something and to do something.
This is the dream that proved to be the milestone of the establishment of Pakistan and the dream that Imran Khan has shown is something beyond the establishment of Pakistan that the state of Madinah is the formation of an Islamic welfare society and a complete system of life.
The question is often asked why the fruits or features of the state of Madinah have not yet been clarified/dispensed.
But are we ready for it? Would I want to be stoned for adultery and cut off my hands for stealing? We as a nation have exceeded all the limits of corruption and dishonesty.
It is important that we execute our own accounting, fine our own thing, and at least make some changes in our own affairs.
We are sentinels of Hindu culture. Our customs, our society even our thinking seem to be inclined towards Hindu society. You can see that wherever, there was a Hindu population, its effects are still the same today, such as the right of daughter in inheritance or remarriage.
Don’t we make a widow sati to some extent? She compelled to live whole life in the punishment of her uncommitted sin.
Can Benazir Income Support or Ehsas programs cure all her ailments? The point is that our likes and dislikes revolve around Hindu society, but the desire is for the state of Madinah.
Even today, in the cities in general and in the villages in particular, the daughter is made to believe that it is a disgrace for her to receive her inheritance.
If you look at the records of the finance department, how many sisters have transferred their inheritance in favour of their brothers? Of course, this number will exceed fifty percent, especially in Punjab province.
Why don’t followers of “Mera Jism Meri Marzi” broach voice against the violation of the rights given by religion? It is true that woman is the enemy of other woman.
Why they don’t plea for every man to have second marriage, if not four? But, the voice is raised for women’s liberation, for indecency, even for a few modern women in big cities who have never bothered to study Islam and have never been deprived of their rights, their only purpose is entertainment.
While the very existence of a woman is only due to Islam, otherwise before that, burying daughters alive was considered a sign of bravery and high family traditions.
Islam is the only religion that defends women’s rights, otherwise whites taught us the lesson to give pension to the widow as long as she keeps the shackles of the widow and we in pension payment offices including Banks still obtain no-marriage certificates from the widow.
We have been instilled the reason for polygamy was that Muslims were less in number, so the purpose was to increase the number of Muslims, while the beauty of Islam is that it gives the equal rights and better life to every citizen including widows.
In an Islamic state, not even a dog dies of thirst, then what about widowhood. We much emphasis on rites of worship even though the share of worship in Islam is not more than ten percent while ninety percent lies in affairs. There is a need to bind society.
Why doesn’t the legislature enact laws that prevent fundamental shortcomings? I wish a law that prohibit the transfer of property to any of the blood relatives of the daughter.
Second marriage should be encouraged. Additional allowance should be given to government employees on every marriage up till fourth.
There should be no widows in the state. Ehsas programme should not include the name of a widow in the sense that it is a disgrace of the woman herself but the person who marries a widow. It would not only help prevent corruption but also eliminate evils in the society.
In fact, women are the architects of the society, so we have to pay immediate attention to the welfare of women for the establishment of an ideal society and the State of Madinah.—Concluded
