The police force is making efforts to eradicate crime completely from Karachi, said DIG South Karachi, Javaid Akber Riaz on the occasion of a function organized by the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus.

Javaid Akber Riaz said that the increase in crime is also due to poverty, inflation and unemployment. He said that protecting the youth from drug poisoning and stopping the use of drugs in educational institutions is also our first priority.
Javaid Akber Riaz said that the police force is always engaged to protect against thieves, robbers and street criminals.
He said that crime can be controlled through community policing and law and order situation can be further improved with the cooperation of the people.
Javaid Akber Riaz said that the morale of the police could be boosted by bridging the gap between the people and police.
The sacrifices of those who were martyred in the performance of their duties for the sake of the homeland will always be remembered.
Speaking on the occasion, M Ali Haider said that peace is linked to prosperity, improvement of economy and development of the country.
He said that the role of police is very important in maintaining peace. If the people cooperate fully with the police, then with their help, crime can be completely eradicated.
On the telephone, Akbar Naqi said that we should respect, honor and remember their sacrifices.
He said that police should be trained in modern and scientific ways so that they can crack down on criminals. He said that lack of education and unemployment also increases crime.
NGOs and other social organizations take steps to spread the society to the masses and motivate them in such a way that positive thoughts and factors attract them to positive activities, thus helping to improve the society.
