The first briefing session of the Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG) by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) was held at Parliament House, Islamabad on Thursday under the Convenership of Syed Mustafa Mahmud, MNA.
Speaking on the occasion, Convener Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group, Syed Mustafa Mahmud stressed upon the need to expand cooperation and contacts with the parliaments across the globe through the platform of Parliamentary Friendship Groups. Director General MoFA has given details regarding Pak-Austria bilateral relations and shared that Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group is not only meant to foster coordination with the Parliament of Austria but also to expand the scope of cooperation from parliament-to-parliament interaction to essential people-to-people contacts.
