The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee against US dollar depreciated by 84 paisas in the interbank trading on Tuesday to close at Rs175.26 against the previous day’s closing of Rs174.42.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs174.3 and Rs175.3 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro which was traded at Rs203.27, depreciated by 15 paisas as compared to its last closing of Rs203.42, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.53, whereas an increase of 83 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs241.30 as compared to its last closing of Rs240.47.—APP
